Customized system for new built yacht
The Helifuel mechanics Torleif Djønne (f.l) and Frank Hellesnes are finishing the system that are to be installed on a large yacht. In company with Jon Færøy doing a quality control.

Helifuel AS are these days finalizing a custom designed helicopter refuelling system for a new, large yacht being built overseas.

The refueling system will be integrated as part of the vessel and are together with the customer customized for this requirement, says Project Manager Jon Færøy.

- We have supplied equivalent units earlier; however this assignment is still giving us special challenges. As the refuelling system shall be installed below the deck, making sure it will not interfere with the design of a very elegant vessel, it is required to be very compact not sacrificing the functionality. There are also special requirements to the exterior finish. Mirror finish.

- This is a very attractive and interesting assignment for us. We have now tested all control systems and simulated all functions. It is working as planned. Its now being packed to be shipped for installation at the yard where the yacht is being built. When the system is tested and approved onboard, the delivery is completed says Jon Færøy.
