Helifuel AS has good reputation
Helifuel AS is a company with good reputation. Through excellent communicate Helifuel AS leaves behind a good impression. Our company has during many years worked closely with Helifuel AS and we have always received timely feedback to our questions. That is a good pointer on the company’s quality work.
So says the quality advisors Stein Atle Puntervoll and Olav Bjerkås from CHC Norway AS. They recently visited Helifuel AS to go through the company’s routines and procedures for quality assurance.
CHC Norway AS is the largest helicopter operator in the oil industry in Norway. The Canadian owned company (Canadian Helicopter Corporation) have 30 helicopters and 420 employees operating from stations along the coast and offshore.
We are directed by the Aviation authorities to audit the inspection companies which relates to our operations. Helifuel AS is that kind of company, that inspects and certify the helicopter refueling systems on offshore installations. Our task is to verify the quality standards. Helifuel will need to document this for us.
Clean fuel is the foundation for safe helicopter transport. Therefore the effort needed to ensure the fuel is first class and that the inspection company practices safety routines and quality assurance must not be compromised. Helifuel inspection visits make the operating company have the correct procedures and qualified staff to ensure the safety and quality of helicopter refueling systems offshore is maintained.
The CHC quality audit is not yet completed but so far Helifuel has created a definite impression of high standards and responsible management. The Helifuel employees take great pride in their work. In this period of economic uncertainty, it is even more important to take care of the safety routines. At CHC safety is never considered a cost cutting item to balancing the accounts Olav Bjerkås and Stein Atle Puntervoll are pointing out.
