This is what Service Manager Michael Jensen is pointing out as an important part of the Helifuel policy. Michael himself is travelling 80-90 days per year to customers in most parts of the world. He is not the only employee travelling for assignments worldwide.
Quality is the be-all and end-all. Quality and safe function is not only applicable when delivering a new helicopter refueling system. The safety regulations shall be complied with at all times. To certify a refueling system requires an inspection to ensure that the certificates can be updated. We need to be there to make sure the guidelines for running and maintain the system is complied to.
Each new system delivered from Helifuel AS includes a guarantee. That is one reason for us to ensure that the system is maintained according to our guidelines. This way we can keep the guarantee valid.
We are not only on the location to inspect but also to give advice and to teach the operators how to use the system in a safe manner.
The name Service Department is a joint concept for follow ups on existing helicopter refuelling systems. This makes the helicopter operators feel safe. This also gives the oil companies, rig owners and shipowners a feeling of confidence.
