Helifuel AS training department runs various courses according to needs and requirements from our customers.
Helideck basic course / repetition course
Scope of a basic course is to give participants operational competence to operate refuelling system and to carry out quality assurance required by prevailing rules and regulations.
The course is intended for personal which has the operational and practical responsibility of refuelling operation on oil installations or other marine landing facilities.
The course is in accordance with the latest guidelines stipulated by OLF and CAP 437 helideck manuals and will provide participants with thorough insight into responsibilities and routines they must adhere to in order to safely supply helicopters with clean, water free Jet A1.
The course includes a summary of prevailing rules and regulations, design criteria and other relevant routines heli-deck crew must comply with to keep a Helifuel system operative.
A simulated refuelling operation and practical exercises is included in the basic course using our Helifuel refuelling simulator.
Tailored courses
All courses are usually given at our facilities, using our “Helicopter fuelling simulator”. However, the courses can all be modified and given offshore tailored to your specific fuelling system.
Duration of the course normally one day, divided in a theoretical and practical part.
